Angel's Wings
I can't help but question why....events unfold the way they do
and I ask myself...why them not me...the Lord has called back home
I hold their love here deep inside...and feel the love they send to me
and everytime I hear a chuch bell ring
I know my angel's have their wings
I know my angel's have their wings...but I still miss them so
and I feel deep in my heart they must know
that I would give everything I'll ever own
to have them here with me
and my only peace is in knowing that my angel's have their wings
An perhaps their love has guided...those who now show their love for me
Those who give me strength and courage...and help to set my spirit free
And I know my works not finished...and when it is he'll call to me
and again we'll be together...and I will earn my wings
I know my angel's have their wings...but I still miss them so
and deep in my heart...I'm sure they know
that I'd gladly give everything I own
to have them here with me
and my only peace is in knowing...that my angel's have their wings
And when our Father calls to me...re-united we will be
and we'll fly among the clouds on angel's wings...
