Darkness has fallen...silence surrounds me
The night cradles me softly
and
I await the one I love


I shiver with ecstasy as the moon rises
For I can feel you in the wind
once more...once again
Every night you come out of a shadow
and you steal my heart away


Tonight is no different


I watch you walk slowly towards me
through the silver fog of the
night skies
I whisper... Are you there ?
My heart begins racing...as I reach out to you


The warmth of your touch...your kisses so true
My body and soul yearns...Once again to be caressed
I surrender completely
To passion...unsuppressed


Something is remembered...a memory of long ago
breezes in the night air... sighs echoed in pleasure
Free of guilt...free of shame
Releasing the desire
Only my true love can tame


Fires extinguished...overtaken by sleep
Prayers through the night
my true love to keep


A new day awakens
Through windows ~ it streams
Once again...I'm alone
waiting for the
one I love
